Community Gardens

The WWNA Community Garden program is getting ready to start the  2025 growing season.  We will be holding our Community garden Meet and Greet on Saturday, April 12th at Pritchard Park (295 Pritchard) from 1:00 till 3:00.

If you are interested in having your own garden bed you MUST ATTEND THE MEET AND GREET on April 12th, 2025.

Please Remember: The WWNA has 5 community gardens for WWN residents to plant, grow, maintain and harvest. This Program runs as soon as the ground is ready for planting and ends at first frost. There are various workshops held at the garden sites through-out the season. This is a great program to enjoy the outdoors.

All Garden plots are first come first serve.... if you are interested in a garden plot or tending the gardens we will have a meet and greet in April when registration and plots will be assigned.

There are plots available in all four gardens for area residents to grow their own vegetables, flowers or you can just tend flowers, pull weeds, pick litter or just sit back and relax and read a book in our neighborhood green spaces. These will be assigned to people who can help with:

  •  General repairs ie: fence & garden bed repairs, painting fences, garden beds, picnic tables, etc.

  •  Garden bed preparation for planting ie: help spread soil, till, weed, etc.

  •  General maintenance ie: grass cutting, tree & bush pruning, weeding, etc.

  •  Gardeners that have assigned garden plots are responsible to water their plot

The garden plots will be assigned to people who attend the Community Garden Meet and Greet in April and registered for a garden plot. Note* with the exception of our garden fairies.
