WELCOME

Welcome to the WWNA! We are dedicated to creating a safe, healthy, and vibrant community for everyone who visits, lives, or works the area. We invite you to join us in making this a wonderful place where everyone can feel at home, stay safe, and succeed. Together, we can make a positive impact in our community!

Housing + Initiatives

Housing

The WWNA operates various initiatives like the homeowners fix-up grants, grants for Landlords, etc.

The WWNA works with various developers and organizations to build new affordable housing in our neighborhood. We are in the process of working with a 3-levels of government to come up with solutions and incentives to get development in our neighborhood happening.

The WWNA now has A Housing Committee.  We are working on finding a solution for all the Burnt, Boarded, Vacant and Piles Rubble plaquing our neighborhood.  We are currently working with the City of Winnipeg, the Province of Manitoba and the Federal Government to solve this problem. We have been meeting with the City of Winnipeg on addressing this issue and we have seen some really great success.  Piles of rubble that have been standing for years are now cleaned up.  Buildings that catch fire, in a lot of cases have been torn down and not allowed to remain as a burnt out shell for years on end.

The WWNA has a Waste Management Committee working on the problem of the garbage and litter problem in our community and the illegal dumping going on in our neighborhood.

We are always looking for volunteers to work on this issues with us. If you are interested in making our community great again contact us via Facebook, email or telephone, we'd love to have you join our fight!

Donations

We accept donations of art supplies, outdoor equipment and financial contributions through email at wwwna2017@gmail.com. Please contact for funding options or to make a drop off.

Crime

The WWNA works with the City, the Province, COPP and various organizations to help reduce and eliminate crime in our neighborhood.

The WWNA is Sourcing Funding to set up a Powerline for the William Whyte Community Members, where you can report anonymously on crime, drug houses, illegal dumping or any issues you would like the WWNA to report on your behalf.
