This supervised skate program is open to all ages and operates during the coldest months (usually December to early March). Be sure to join us this winter once the season gets under way. Once the temperatures are cold enough to maintain ice and we have enough snow the skate program hours will be announced. Please watch our Facebook Pages for details.
We have over 100 pairs of loaner skates for this program. It’s a great way to stay active throughout the winter.
The skate program is open to all ages and we encourage you to use the pleasure ice rink at your own leisure.

PAST EVENTS
2024 was a very, very busy year for me and the WWNA board. We have been working on the housing issues and have
seen some great success. We had A great AGM this year in partnership with Church of the Rock, there was a
wonderful dinner catered by Naleway Catering (Perogy Plant), and we got to see some of our community members
that came out to join us. It was a lovely evening.
The WWNA held another Community engagement meeting where a number of community members came out, voiced their concerns and offered solutions to the problems in the William Whyte Neighborhood. This meeting is held approximately 3-times a year and it gives you (the community) a chance to have your say in what changes you want for our community.
We will be holding our 6th meeting to continue to strategize on how you, William Whyte Community Members that live, work, and play in the Community want us to move forward. This is for resident's, landlords, business owners and anyone else with a stake in our community.
Monday, April 14, 2025 at 6:30pm
at Pritchard Park (295 Pritchard)
At this meeting we will give you an update on our progress of the burnt buildings & piles of rubble.
Inform you on our progress in combating the garbage problem in our community.
Inform you of the steps the WWNA has taken to reduce crime in the William Whyte Neighborhood.
Along with any issues you feel we need to address.
Come Take Part, Share your Thoughts and Let's come up with solutions together as a Community to make this neighborhood great again!
